School Performance & Results

School Performance and Results

The high-quality education provided by St Michael’s Lutheran School sees our students consistently meeting the requirements of the Australian Curriculum Achievement Standards.

The school provides a wide variety of experiences; all designed to enable students to fulfil their potential.  Our student’s social and emotional wellbeing is critical to ensuring that they are balanced people prepared to contribute to the community. St Michael’s students are supported to wonder, challenge, explore and discover.

Achievement is not just measured in academic pursuits, students are also encouraged to live out the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile through physical education, the arts, languages and science.

International Baccalaureate Program

St. Michael’s Lutheran School is a co-educational primary school offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program from Foundation to Year 6, where students learn to be independent thinkers with a passion for knowledge.

Organised into multi-age learning communities, we embrace the diversity of every child, as students strive to reach their potential.

Our Facilities

With outstanding facilities, St Michael’s students are provided with many opportunities to wonder, create, experience challenge, develop skills and contribute to the community.

Diversity and Values

Catering for and respecting diversity is deeply valued at St Michael’s, our classrooms have flexible learning spaces which consider the needs of all students in the classroom.

At the core of our school are the Christian beliefs and values, which underpin all learning.  Students participate in worship, devotion and Christian Studies lessons as a normal part of the school week.

Reviews

Stakeholders regularly participate in reviews to ensure that our school is constantly improving.

Every five years St Michael’s undergoes an extensive external review conducted by the International Baccalaureate organisation.  This review encompasses every area of our teaching and learning program and its delivery, ensuring that St Michael’s meets best practice standards of education.
